Twitter lost my password?

This has happened twice in the past two weeks. I go into my twitter app and it locks me out and says it lost my password so i type it in and it says it can't authorize it so it sends an email to reset my password, but my problem is that the email I use for twitter I made 2 years ago and it was hotmail.
I had been locked out of that so i had to reset my password for that as well, but now it won't let me reset it again because, again, I'm locked out. It says I can only create a new account. So will I ever be able to get back into my twitter? I could really use the help.
