What means the newest bill towards Internet censorship in Turkey?
I'm confused with the latest events development in Turkey and the Internet censorship?! Can anyone explain what is the level of severity of affected sites/contents....? Is there any particular web site(s) (Google, Yahoo, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) is/are totally blacked out?!

I'm really disappointing. Feeling sorrow for my beloved friends in Turkey.

thanks

Yes, a deputy from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has now introduced an amendment to Turkey's Law No. 5651, which is related to Internet content and cybercrime. It would give the transport and communications minister the power to block websites deemed to be violating privacy, as well as compel Internet service providers to retain information on their customers' activity on the Internet. If these amendments are enacted, freedom of expression, access to news and Internet investments could be very adversely affected.
Sites like Yahoo and Google most likely won't fall in the possible category to be blocked. The changes in the law however hold the possibility to outlaw any blogs in Turkey on subjects other than food, fashion, and travel blogs. Those that include political commentary in particular will be suspect.
