Canon 60d worth the upgrade?
Currently own a sony a37. Most likely gonna upgrade to a Canon 60d. Is it worth the upgrade?

Not really - changing systems is expensive, and generally a bad idea.
Look at lenses or a flashgun to expand your existing capabilities first. Ads |

No. Your images aren't going to get any nicer than they already are. All that you'd gain is as more robust and better specified camera; A Sony A77 would give all that and you wouldn't have to give up the benefits of an EVF
You'd need to go to a Canon 5D Mk11 and L lenses, Nikon D610, or Sony A99 with G lenses to get a noticeable big jump in quality. |

It's a nice upgrade to your 1100d. I guess it depends on how much you use it.
It's also considerably larger than the 1100d |

If you know the exact reason why you want a dSLR over your SLT then by all means, get another camera. I won't call it an upgrade though so don't dispose your old camera quickly.
Looking at your Flickr page, I don't think you need to replace your camera at all! What you need is a ticket to somewhere else and get the most out of your SLT! Don't worry, when your a37 conks out, that would be the time to replace it. |
