Canon 60d worth the upgrade?
Currently own a sony a37. Most likely gonna upgrade to a Canon 60d. Is it worth the upgrade?

Not really - changing systems is expensive, and generally a bad idea.

Look at lenses or a flashgun to expand your existing capabilities first.

No. Your images aren't going to get any nicer than they already are. All that you'd gain is as more robust and better specified camera; A Sony A77 would give all that and you wouldn't have to give up the benefits of an EVF
You'd need to go to a Canon 5D Mk11 and L lenses, Nikon D610, or Sony A99 with G lenses to get a noticeable big jump in quality.

It's a nice upgrade to your 1100d. I guess it depends on how much you use it.

It's also considerably larger than the 1100d

If you know the exact reason why you want a dSLR over your SLT then by all means, get another camera. I won't call it an upgrade though so don't dispose your old camera quickly.

Looking at your Flickr page, I don't think you need to replace your camera at all! What you need is a ticket to somewhere else and get the most out of your SLT! Don't worry, when your a37 conks out, that would be the time to replace it.
