Facebook timeline...relationship status confusion?

Ok, so my ex and I broke up like a week and a half ago. I'm still in the hurt stages and so of course I go to look on his profile even though he deleted me and all my friends and family. Last night I started freaking out because he changed his facebook to the timeline. We broke up the night of January 10, 2012 and on it, it says "In a relationship- January 10, 2012. I changed my relationship status that night (the 10th), and he changed is the next day (the 11th) when he had the original facebook. There's suspicion that he is going back to his ex (from me, friends, family, etc). But I noticed that when I clicked on his about section, it says that his relationship status is single. So was I freaking out about nothing, and was it just something that the new facebook timeline does...maybe it says that he was in a relationship till Jan 10, 2012 I'm guessing? Anyone that uses the timeline know anything about this?

WHO CARES! If you're trying to get over him dont worry about what he does. Maybe when you changed your relationship status to single he never changed his so on facebook it was still in a "relationship" with you.
