How do I tag a person I'm not friends with on Facebook in a post?

I know I can tag a friend by writing @ but I how do I tag someone I'm not friends with?

You can just do @name to create a visual tag, but you cannot physically tag someone that is not in your friends list.

As such, tags that are not to friends will not appear as highlighted blue.

there is no way to tag someone you arent friends with unless you and that person are both in the same group, and you are posting in that group
