Why am I so upset over this?

This is going to sound really wierd coming from a 13 year old girl, but I cant stand technology. It causes more harm than good, I seriously cant go a day without looking at tech and im sick of it. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind the technology used in hospitals and such, but I just cant stand facebook, twitter, and instagram. It has caused a lot of damage and bullying is a huge problem from it. Its so boring and I dont know why people are so "obsessed" with social networking. I feel like all everyone talks about is "the next big tech" and it really makes me upset. I practically have nostalgia for the 1900s even though I didnt live through that time. I would give anything just to see what it was like back then. Why am I so upset over this stuff? I know I should be thankfull to live in the time that I do, but im not.

If you're sick of technology, you wouldn't be asking this now. I think you're sick of social networking, which is VERY common nowadays, considering how downhill they are going.

If there was no social networking, teenagers would still be mean to each other. Its just the way things are until they mature and learn to treat others with respect. Adults still do it but not so much. If you don't like social networking, don't use it. Find friends that you like and who like you and be content with it.

Some people like different things. World is super nasty if you lean it.
Millions of people starve to death because they are not allowed to migrate and live. They die because people do not want their standard of living to go down. People need to acknowledge this and realize it is same as watching them being sent to a concentration camp. To me, ignoring this and making a big deal about animal or few death is silly.
