Why my friend's mom block me on instagram?

Hi. My friend.... (Well a boy that I went to summer camp with's) mom blocked me on Instagram! I have no idea why. At summer camp, we hung out and it was pretty fun. He asked me out....... And I said no. Maybe he told his mom and then she blocked me because of that? I don't really care that much but it kind of ticks me off when people block me for no reason. Anything you guys can think of?

P.S, I don't want to confront him about it because we barely even talk and it would be too awkward so I'm not doing that.....

Maybe she just deactivated her account, stop being so paranoid.
