how can we hide our friends list?

i want to hide my friends list from even my friends...how am i supposed to do that!??

for TIMELINE Fb profile

Go to your profile, (Simply click your profile pic)
from there on top of your friends list click "See all"
after the page loads click "EDIT" on top, and make it from "friends" to "ONLY ME"

#2 - Now under “Connecting on Facebook” section, click “View Settings”
#3 – Find “See your friend list” section, click “Customize”.
#4 - Then under the label “Make this visible to” select “Only Me”.

You can hide your friend list in facebook chat option. Go to facebook chat right side below. Click on option > Advance setting. You can see 3 options of your choice. Select which one you want.
