What can Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn do for our business?

If you are wanting to market your business social networking is a must. Facebook alone has over 800million accounts. Twitter has similar large amount of accounts, Linkedin not so much but is still an important tool for your business. And you must not forget YouTube as video marketing is big and will continue to grow in the future.

Social media takes a lot of time, but it pays off, says a report released today. Ninety percent of marketers surveyed say that social media is important for their business, with the self employed and small business owners with two or more employees "more likely to strongly agree," says the 2011 Social Media Marketing Report, which surveyed some 3,300 marketers.

consumers who are Facebook fans and Twitter followers of a brand are more likely to not only recommend, but they are also more likely to buy from those brands than they were before becoming fans/followers…
