How do you make the avatar picture things for ur profile?

I need help, too. I created an avatar and did whatever I was supposed to do but it would not show anyway. When I go to Edit my Info/Profile and click on my "picture", nothing happens. Any suggestion?

Ok . .first go to the yahoo avatars page :
http://avatars.yahoo.com/

Then, on the top, it says that yahoo is getting rid of yahoo avatars.
Thus, the only way to get the pic on your profile is to download it . .on top of the page, click "download your avatar" . . and from then on . . the steps are pretty much follow able . . now that your pic is saved in your computer, you are free to upload it

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.

Note: if you are on a mobile, you need to switch to desktop mode first in order for this to work.
