I told a girl on twitter that fornication is okay as long as you are sincere, what are your views on this?

Sex was designed by God, I'm sorry if it disappoints you, but it is wrong outside of marriage. There's a reason you have guilt enough to ask. Hope you have an awesome day even if this isn't what you wanted to hear. I'll be praying for you! Smile

It's not okay. It will put a curse on you because God said not to do it. See I Cor. 6:9-20. Read John 3:1-21, II Cor. 5:10; 7:10, Rev. 3:20, II Cor. 5:17, 21, John 1:12-13, Eph. 2:8-10 about being born again.

I think it depends on the person. Some people have one night stands and are happy doing so, never regretting anything. Some people have one night stands and regret it for the rest of their lives. Some people wait until marriage for religious reasons. Some people wait until marriage for personal reasons (like myself) that are unrelated to religion. Whether or not "fornication" is okay depends entirely on the person. If you're sincere about it and you feel comfortable, that's fine. If you're not sincere about it and you feel comfortable, that's fine, too. It's all about doing what makes you happy and what you feel is right for you.

It is the view of the world. After all, if there is no god, go and get laid, anything goes.

It is a question of rules, and of 'who makes the rules!' This is why atheists cannot be said to be moral, but only amoral for they have no common morality that guides them. Having said that, many misunderstand what amoral means. For it does not mean that a person necessarily is exceedingly wicked, it only means that there is no common denominator of morality guiding that person. And so it is for atheists, and the world at large.
