what would you do if you were invited to a party but your bestfriend wasn't?
If the popular kids invited you to a party, but not your bestfriend..
Would you go?
Would you tell your best friend?
Would you tell your bestfriend before, or AFTER you go to the party?

basically, my bestfriend was invited to a party and i wasn't
She went without telling me. I found out about it just now, by someone else, not her..

thanks

i wouldn't think anything of it. you guys don't have to do everything together, i dont know why they'd hide it but i guess it's the age... well just remember how you feel now, and if you ever get invited to a party without your friend, just ask if they can come along. your friend will see how much you care for them and they might do the same for you in the future. it's a much nicer and cleaner route than revenge. if it's really bothering you though, talk to your friend directly about it, in person, not on text/facebook/social media, and don't be accusatory, just be like "oh i heard you went to that party. how was it? i wish i could have come!" and if they don't get the hint, then you can say something like "i wish you would have told me because i think it would have been a lot of fun" or something like that. just be honest while remaining considerate. but i really don't think it's that big of a deal, this is just if it's like bugging you weeks later or something. i'd say just try to forget, i don't think it's anything to do with you Smile

Hi from France ♫

I would go anyway, and of course I would tell it to my best-friend before.

Best

Cat.

if you are invited to a party and your best friend is not invites and you want to go go! you don't have to report every where you go to your friend. if she didn't tell you that she was going to a party and went so be it, you can do the same thing. but if you think it will hurt her feelings then tell her that you were invited to the party. it isn't your fault and it wasn't her fault that you were not invited, you didn't make out the invitations, so there shouldn't be a problem, don't feel guilty for something that you had no control over. and don't make her feel guilty over something that she had no control over. she probably didn't tell you because she thought your feeling would be hurt. let that go, that's petty and nothing to stop being friends over. it'll probably happen again.
