How do I get Facebook and Twitter off of my yahoo profile, also how do I make my yahoo profile page private?

To keep your Yahoo! account from being connected to your Facebook or Twitter account, from Answers click My Activity > View your Yahoo! profile > Settings (gear icon) > Connected Accounts and verify your settings. http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/linked-accounts/

By going to Activity Sharing on your Profile you can choose to disable posting of updates on other sites. http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/updates/

Also after clicking the Setting icon you can select Privacy and hide your profile. But that doesn't really give you privacy. For example having your profile visible does not effect your privacy settings on Answers; it only allows the information you may have written about yourself on Y! Profile (http://profile.yahoo.com/y/edit/ ) and chosen to share to become public and also enables updates if you've turned them on. And if you hide your profile you won't be able to have a custom avatar on Answers.
