How to get rid of FACEBOOK TIMELINE!!! 10 points for those with answers thanks!?
My friend got Facebook Timeline she wanted to try it out and now she can't switch back to her original Facebook. I read in a couple websites that Facebook is going to have everyone switch to Facebook Timeline so for those who have it can't switch back is this true? If there is a way to switch back can you please help thanks!!!
I don't want to know how to set it up I hate it and I can wait for mine to change on its own thanks and well if its true that we're all going to have Timeline you'll see soon enough what I'm talking about its so confusing I like Facebook the way it is it needs to get rid of Timeline and the ticker on the right side!!! What happened to privacy!!!
Mmm The ticker is what bothers me. Everytime you post or comment or anything it goes on the ticker for your friends, and friends of friends and pages to see -______-
And hmmm so no way I'll let her know.

You gave up your right to privacy when you got your Facebook account. Get over it. Live with it.

In truth, you can lock down your Facebook account to prevent other people from seeing what you don't want them to see. I've got mine locked down pretty tight. But here's the thing....no matter how tightly you've got it locked down, eventually, Facebook will modify something that will make it all public again....they've done this to me twice now.

So, the only mechanism you have to guarantee your privacy 100% is to remove everything from Facebook and delete your account if you're not going to pay attention to it for a long time.

Unfortunately, as I understand it, Facebook Timeline is here to stay. Once you've set it up, you have 7 days to protect your information before Facebook automatically publishes it. You CANNOT remove the timeline once you've added it, and you've only got 7 days.

Personally, I would rather knowingly set up the timeline so that I've got my 7 days when I'm ready, rather than let Facebook turn it on for me automatically (in other words ram it down my throat) and I not find out until the 8th day.

You don't pay for it so they can do anything they wish.
You can edit settings for only people you want to see.

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.
