Why am I getting so many facebook notifications about stupid things?

PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GO TO NOTIFICATION SETTINGS i already did and they are still coming. They are stupid ones like, "________ made a comment on a photo of you" and its this application thing that is COMPLETELY fake. plus lately i have been getting videos posted on my wall that I think are spams! these people say that they never posted any of those videos on my wall. I think that someone is hacking into people's facebook, also. Why is facebook being so horrible and how can I fix it?

oh em gee that happens to me all the time too its sam and dont click on it or it will sned other people spam. its like a chain thing

Report it as SPAM to Facebook.

You probably have a trojan which is logging onto your facebook and posting crap trying to spread itself.

Run a couple scans with your favorite antivirus software and get back to us.

well for the "________ made a comment on a photo of you" ones, un-tag yourself from the picture. Cant help you with the other ones though, i get em too

The problem is, Facebook is trying to do too much at once. Whenever I receive those I simply click, "Block this Application" and I never receive anymore wall posts,etc. Give it a try, it will definitely solve your problem.
