First make a website with your programming and designing skills, then buy a domain and webhosting where you can upload your website and make it go online. The last step is only marketing, marketing and marketing.

Well, Facebook is a huge site, so "like Facebook" can mean several things.

If you actually want a site with all/most features of Facebook, then you have to have a huge team working for it, and some large resource like good hosting etc. You just can't get it done for free unless you know how to make it yourself (some serious coding skill needed).
