Does he like me or is he playing?

Ok so I'm a junior in highschool and ever since Halloween last year, there's this sophomore kinda flirting with me, I think. He hasn't talked to me yet which is why I'm doubting he likes me or if he's just making fun of me. He's pretty hot and I've never noticed him before untill now. At school, he started looking at me A LOT. Like the kind of stare you just notice. And when I walked past him, my friend who was walking behind me bumped into him because he stopped to watch me as I walked... Lol this sounds so awkward when I type it but yeah... Then one day when I was absent he literally yelled at my friend 'Where's your friend?' And months went by, there was constant staring between us and I found myself looking for him everywhere I went. Then came Winter break and I decided to stop thinking about him. My sister said that none of what's happened counts unless he talks to me and she urged me not to make the first move. I kinda disobeyed and followed him on instagram, but he didn't follow back. Which makes me question if he really liked me? I let it slide for a few weeks since he hadn't posted a photo but once he did and didn't follow me back, I unfollowed him. I have to admit it I was getting attached to him. Then school started again and without me noticing, he was looking at me more than ever. His actions became more brazen, but still, he could just talk to me on facebook... One day he even sent his friend to my group. I didn't even know he was his friend untill I saw him bro-hugging a guy in my group but staring at me. I then looked as he walked away and went to him. Kinda like a lookout I thought. Now I'm so confused, I don't want to like him because I'm known for falling too fast and I don't want to get hurt. Do you think he likes me? Please I need honest opinions or advice as to what I should do

I think he does quite like you but my advice is to ignore and avoid him.
He sounds like he could be like this with a lot of girls and he's probably a big tease.
I think you should find yourself a REAL man and not a flirt which he is.
