your thoughts on commercials telling you to follow them on facebook/twitter/youtube for marketing purpose?

Facebook twitter and youtube is suppose to be just for everyone, now companies join in and tries to market their products these social network. Personally I think it just ruins everything. They aren't really there to be connected to you in any way...except only to market their product. This was why it ruined myspace.com . Myspace is full of commercials ..that's why it pretty much died.


what are your thoughts?

if you check out these companies website they have a little icon to follow them on facebook/twitter/youtube which makes me sick. just more junk mail
