Twitter keeps deleting people off friends list!!!?

My tweets are protected.
My moms aren't.

Every week my mom keeps getting angry that I am removing her off twitter, when I'm not. It's either HER twitter account removing me, or MY twitter account removing her.

But neither are by choice. It's doing it on its own.
Or it is her computer? But unlikely.

I recall people saying this was happening recently, but can't find anything on google. Wasn't there a twitter virus that was removing people?

Can someone give me an answer, I'm confused.
