My best friend is mad at me, and I can't stand it?

Her name is Elizabeth and we've been best friends for almost seven years. She stayed the night with me the other night and we were talking to my boyfriend (Hunter), and she told me about how this guy named Conner at her school told her that he is only going out with me to win a bet that her boyfriend and him made. (to see which one would kiss Beth or me first). She said not to believe him because Hunter is a truthful person. Well, she was going to pick me up yesterday to see him, but she said he wouldnt be there, so we changed plans. Then, he called me last night and was WITH her. She lied to me and I told her I was mad. (she asked me what my problem was, because I was "acting funny). Then, she said that if she was me, she would believe Conner. And now, she hates me and is ignoring me. I tried to talk to her and sort things out because I cant stand people being mad at me. And she's posting things on Twitter like "NOW you're trying to talk?" and "I hate when people blame things on me and their the biggest liars known to man" and stuff. We have only fought three times since we've known each other, and I hate her being mad at me (she's my only true friend) and I was just looking for some advice. Anyway, thanks for your time.

Hey, I know how you feel hun, i go to an all girls school so its just constant fall outs, arguments and bitching. Something like that happened to me, and the person started the Facebook status' and twitter things, it hurt, but sometimes people aren't worth it. What she did was mean. But if she is really important to you, thats when its hardest. Because you feel lonely without the person that you were really close to but you dont want to suck up to her and give in when SHE is the one being mean. This guy hunter doesnt seem worth it if he is just messing around with your feelings like that. And wth? he was with her? and called you? Now thats harsh. Unless he is really really attractive, dump him, forget him, just focus on getting your best friend back. If you want her back, the only way is to just call her and talk things through, CALMLY. Dont shout just work things out. Talk to each other about it. Good luck hun
