gf wants me to post everything on facebook?
Let me start off by saying I hate Facebook, I haven't posted a status in probably a year. I use the messages and I respond to people posting on my wall, that's it. Oh, and birthdays. I hate the whole thing. Also, I'm a very private person. I don't tell the people closest to me anything about myself, let alone the distant family and old school friends I have on Facebook.

Note: we're both 21.
My girlfriend uses it all of the time, which is considered normal these days. She wants me to post about loving her and how much I appreciate my gifts. I tell her these things, why should I have to post it on some digital wall? What should I do? Am I the only young person who hates Facebook?

I hate it too, i change my picture once a year, and only post sh!t when i'm drunk, or think of something offensive. But if your gf got you something you like, just say my awsome gf got me ..... if it makes her happy go for it.

I completely understand as I'm the same- hate this thing and can't understand why people are so obsessed with it. But everyone's different I suppose and let them do their own thing.
With regards to your question, I would just talk to her and explain how you feel. If she really wants that, maybe post some things on her wall, you never know, it might make her happy? But make her understand that's not what you're like and that and that you do love her and appreciate the gifts but would rather keep it between the two of you.

Talking and understanding is really important in a relationship so don't hesitate discussing things that bother you- it'll make everything easier in the long run Smile good luck!
