facebook timeline mandatory?
When is facebook timeline going to be mandatory for everyone, I heard Feb 1 but notice that many people still have the old facebook, I was nervous about the timeline but like it now, I think it's kinda cool but takes time to get used to, plus I did some major editing. When is it going to be on everyone's profiles?

Facebook is rumored to start rolling out the updates soon It is never a sure thing with facebook. However with the way it looks we will all have time line by the end of February.

well not everyone going chnage their profiles to timeline its their choose if they do want keep the old profile background ot change it to the new one. notlike facebook has controling everyone else who hasnt chnage theirs yet. not meant you have to listen to what mark facebook team said. some people did theirs but not everyone s.e maybe some of the people dilike it. not . so nobdoy cant tell anyone what to do. . if you like it then you can change yours but your cant tell others what to do on theirs. . neitherfacebook team cant do anything else expect notices that not lot of users do like the new profiles. . there no blame for it.

no you do not have to have it if u prefer the old one just keep it facebook will let you know when u have to change it or it will change automatically

Yes, it will be eventually, but I don't think it is yet. A year ago when Facebook changed their profile, it took at least 3 months before everyone had it.

no one knows the exact date, but since each user gets 7 days to tweak it before it's viewable, maybe Feb 8th?
all anyone here can do is guess |

Mine was changed without my consent 2 days ago. they gave me a notice one week ago that it is going to change to timeline. I couldn't do anything about it. so I DEACTIVATED my account. before deactivating, I tried to change the privacy of some old posts but after 2 or 3 changes, it started giving me some error messages. They are revealing our past without our consent. When I became a member of facebook, I did so assuming that that time's outlook is what will be showing my data. in that outlook my past would be hidden to others after a while....
