I lost a bet and had to make a Twitter account lol what is the point of this site cuz I'm super lost? Is this better than Facebook?

Twitter is similar to facebook in a certain sense.

However, you can't really say Facebook is entirely better than Twitter and vice versa, but the one thing which Twitter stands out is the word limit you have for each of your post/twit.
Thus, everything which everyone post is short and sweet.
