how do i know if Im friends with someone on facebook?

ok so my facebookwas hacked, and the hacker humilated me because he added one of my instructors who now officially got creeped out but, when i found out i was freaking out because well its embaressing and we have no mutual friends so wondering how could he know who to add
but anyway I went on my friends list and typed in my instructors first name and he did not show up as my friend , i know for sure he did not ddelete me
but i need to confirm if he is a friend on facebook
additionaly the hacker added and deleted some of my friends like some pictures and status of people an gave me a timeline, i have informed everyone on facebook that the account is hacked and apologized if i added them within the past few weeks or so, my passwords are all change

only thing is I can never look at my instructor in the face because he thinks Im a creep and i dont even know how to see if he is a friend

First off make sure you have a good password with both letters, numbers and characters, example 8@subwaylastnight@nineOclock

Second, simple tell your teacher your facebook account was hecked. That stuff happens all the time. My cousins facebook page was hacked one and I get a spam link from him, that wasn't sent by him. It's not a big deal.

To see who your friends are, simple go to your friends list, anyone on there is your facebook friend and can view your whole profile.
