Is this bad to do with a domain?
Ok so I'm going to buy my domain name but I don't have my website made and I want to take my time with it so would it be a bad idea to forward that to my Facebook page in till I get my website up

As long as you are transparent about it, I see no harm. By transparent I mean you should tell everyone what you are doing. Maybe you can have a "Under Construction" page on the top of your website that says, "Click here to go to my Facebook page."

Get the web page going, you can always change it.

Get the Domain name registered (about £10 for 2 years)

try Wordpress, Wix and many others for a free site
