Do you like this quote, some girl I'm friends with on Facebook made it up (I think). I was gonna use it because a person in my life was being very fake towards me and I'm aiming it at them.

Very true and creative quote. I like it.

I don't really like it. It is repetitive and doesn't form a logical conclusion. If someone is phony they are fake, not transparent. I would make up a saying playing off of that, like "I only deal in authentic people, not fakes."

"Fakes are cheap"

"Phony people are a dime a dozen"

You are mixing up the meaning of transparency. Transparency has to do with honesty and not deceit. I think "invisible" is the word because phony people don't think their real selves exist in real life.
