Short Dress to Senior Prom?
At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to Senior Prom, because I don't have a date and I think that's embarrassing but my friends convinced me to go. Most of them already have their dresses and there is a Facebook group that all the girls in my grade post their dresses on. Every girl's dress looks exactly the same, and I want something different! I really like short dresses because I feel they suit my body type better (5"7 and 120 pounds). Should I go with a short dress?

Yeah sure. You're 5'7 (like me) so I'm assuming you'd have killer legs. I'm all for being bold and different. It's your senior prom so do what you want, and also don't worry about not having a date, just dance and have fun. If I were you I wouldn't post a picture of my dress online because then people might go down the same route and the whole point is to stand out.

I wore short dresses to my proms. I think they're way more comfortable because they don't get so hot when you start dancing and it makes dancing a lot easier.

If you don't want to go short you can always find a dress that's short in the front and longer in the back. Those are really pretty!

This is the dress I wore last year and I got a lot of compliments on it (:

I think a combination of short and long would look good on you since you have the perfect height and weight, so just go for a dress that is long from behind like a tail kinda type and above the knee from the front. Go and have fun and don't worry about not having a date, you will regret not going because prom is something fun and special and I think you should be there.

WEAR WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF. It is a special day and you want to LOOK and FEEL your best! Once you find that perfect dress, it shouldn't matter whether it is short or long in length.

In a word. No. But since nobody pays attention to what anyone says on here...go ahead. How is 5'7" and 120lbs a body type?
