Just keep it the same, improve on the efficiency, speed and ease of use. FFS, no one likes major change. Just make it better. If you find that balance, you win.

Sorry, but change is inevitable. If it was not, we would still be banging rocks together or thumping drums to communicate. Some people tolerate change well; others not so much. Adaptability is a survival trait. It can be nurtured if it is not inherent for you.

I have no idea what an aneurysm feels like, but I'll take Yahoo Answers turning into the ugliest mess imaginable, or disappearing altogether, over an aneurysm any day.

Sorry, that is simply the human reaction to the unknown or the unfamiliar. The changes on the Y!A site really are an improvement, but you need to get familiar with the new format before you see it as such.

Once you get over the normal knee-jerk reaction to a change you didn't choose, and start learning your way around the new format, you'll likely see it's not so bad. I did.

It takes a little getting used to. Normally, I am not a big fan of change for no good reason. However, this change really does seem to be an improvement, once one gets used to some things' being in a different place.

Yahoo really is making the switch. Going through the back door and sneaky portals to get the old format, as some suggest doing, is just postponing the inevitable. I say use the new one and get used to it. Be patient with yourself as you're learning your way around the new format.

They switched us over on the US site a few months ago, I think it was, and I decided to just go with it. It is really much easier to use, once I found out where everything is now. Give it a chance.

I like the in-line answering and the convenience of the Add Media link and the fact that everyone can now use the thumbs ratings system. I also like that, if you know where to look, you can see who gave you a thumbs-up rating.

the people here who responded to you are being idiots. they don't know what they're talking about. they don't realize how much better the former green version was. I still want to be able to use the former green version.
at least with that version, I was able to see the signup dates of yahooanswers users when I'd hover the mouse over their avatar, but this doesn't even offer that option, and it doesn't show a timestamp over the with the ulr timestamp when you hover the mouse over that.
this new version is horrible compared to the old one. sure, you can now reply to older questions, but look at what you can no longer do.
the old version was better than this new version.
it's too bad these people here are too ignorant to realize that.
