On the Facebook home screen, tap the upper left menu button.

Scroll down the list until you see one of the bottom choices, "Settings," and tap that.

Several option buttons should pop up. Select the "Privacy Settings" button.

Scroll to the bottom of this screen, and the last category will be "Blocked People and Apps." Tap the last link on the page, "Edit your list of blocked people."

On the next screen that comes up, you can add a user to your block list by name or email address.

All done!
