If your following someone, but they are NOT following you, can they read what you "twit,tweet" (how is it called). Lol
Okay, if they CAN read what I type without following me, than why 'would' they follow?

Their updates will automatically appear for you to read - you are 'following' them.

Your updates will not automatically appear for them to read - they would need to follow you to get your updates.

They could search for you and read your updates, without you knowing. Unless you change your privacy settings.
