Which is better: Plum Groups, JCow or Grouply?\?
I want to make a social networking site where the users can upload music, photos etc. without letting strangers see it. I would also like to know if you have your own domain name. Please choose one that doesn't require knowledge of PHP and such. I like Facebook's way of posting "what's on your mind" and how twitter makes it creative by adding backgrounds and such. It would be fun if you can get on only by invite, that way my friends will tell others and so on, but if i can't do that it's okay. The page would obviously allow commenting.
So please, just recommend me the best one of the above following my necessities. Please don't recommend me other sites unless they have ALL of the above.
Thanks!

Don't know anything about Plum Groups or JCow, but I have had a great experience with Grouply, and it would seem to meet your requirements.

* Grouply allows you to upload music and share photos, files, and videos.
* Grouply has a full set of privacy controls, so you can make your group public or restrict access to just members. You can even make some pages public (to attract new members) and some pages private for members only.
* You can make the group invite-only if you want, so you can't even discover/join unless you are invited.
* You can use your own custom web address.
* There is no PHP or any other coding required. Grouply's customization interface is really easy to use. Just point and click.
* Grouply provides the ability to post status or quick "whiteboard" posts, just like on Facebook.
* Grouply allows full appearance customization, much more powerful than Twitter's.
* You can comment on any message or piece of content.
