l need other ways to promote my music while im home unemployed?

hello! i wanted to get suggestions on other ways i can promote my music because right now im unemployed and i don't have the money to go to open mic like i would like to do! i do have a facebook page that i use as a tool to market my talent but it seems kinda hard to get folks to check it out, any other suggestions?

the street corner is were many musicians got started, no joke. bring a hat for people to put money in. if your good you will draw in a crowd and some cash plus a talent scout. goodluck

Anyone wanting to get out there music - wise needs to create a MySpace account - it's where many musicians are found.

Secondly you have a Facebook account, add people get talking, encourage people to listen to it. Create a Twitter account do more or less the same. Advertise on good classifieds sites, tell people about your music.
