hi, a lot of businesses use trends (popular word with # before it) in their tweets to attract other twitter users looking for posts looking for that trend and then include a URL directed to your own web site, just make sure the Trend has some connection with your Business/website (i.e if it's a books website #Reading or #Books would be good)

Business are using Twitter as way of extending their customer service, keeping interested parties up to date on their latest news and giving exclusive deals to their followers. It allows companies to do a better job at reaching out to the consumers, create a branding awareness and marketing channel.

I don't think there is a best way as it very much depends on your business. The tips in the answers above seem a good place to start, but you'll have to learn to adapt the details to match your needs.
It's going to be a learning experience but persevere as it is worthwhile. |

Hello,
People say Twitter is a great marketing tool. For me - I still have to find out how to be successful. I am but not as much as I would like to be. Make sure that you have lots of followers. Start following people and they will most probably follow you in return. Post every day, but not only about your products. I would suggest that you twitt twice or three times a day but only once about what you sell. Other posts - just casual talk. And remember - it will take some time. |
