why have my pictures and words disappeared from my facebook profile?

I have tried the help section on facebook, but cannot access what it says and the google search has no answers although see that others have the same problems.
I have a heading and if I click on the right hand section for account etc, I can see that and my profile picture, but nothing on news feed or profile page. Thanks
Thanks Seoul. I can see it on another pc and I have typed the question into facebook help, but am not able to complete the tasks because not all the facilities are there to do this.
I am a complete novice and this netbook is new, thought it was web browser as suggested on facebook also, but unsure how to fix as have tried everything!
forgot to say its a netbook on windows 7.
Had my friend round today who spent over an hour trying to fix it, and didnt achieve anything.

Is your pc or browser hacked ??? Try to use facebook from other person's pc so that you can be sure that your account is hacked.

IF you see nothing when using from other person's pc then you can be sure that your account is hacked and post this problem on: http://www.facebook.com/help/?section=community

And if you see your facebook profile normal there then you can be sure that either your pc is virus effected or your web browser is affected.
