Why does everyone on Twitter link their ask.fm profiles?

Ask.fm used to be no big deal now, but now that it is trending, it's really fucking annoying. I don't hate the people that have it, I just hate how they link it to their tweets. I wish there was a way to block all the ask.fm tweets.
But seriously, why the fuck does every girl and in some cases guy spam their ask page. They always tweet "ask me a question (url here)". No one fucking cares,
And honestly, I'm sick of seeing that shit on my timeline.
yeah I get it, I always ask for asks because I'm bored. Well let me tell you this. If you're bored, ONE how the hell is answering asks going to accomplish anything in your life, TWO go read a fucking book or do something productive.
I really don't understand girls. I don't know why they all feel the need to link they're accounts.
