What version of Photoshop should I buy for Twitter backgrounds?

I would like to design and edit Twitter backgrounds. What version of Photoshop do I need or that you suggest that I should use?

Any version will do, but if you have the cash to put out you might as well get cs5, I mean they all would do the same thing tho as long as you know the dimensions of the back ground and how to apply it to your design you'll be ok. I use Cs5 now but Cs3 is also a good one. I never used Cs4 it didnt add enough features for me to think about getting it.

I'd Use Paint.NET it just as good (and not retarded like GIMP) but you might want the AlphaSpace and AlphaMasK plugins for the full Photoshop feel
but If you insist on purchase I'd go CS3 or CS2 if you can still get it
unless your insane CS5 in Amazing and CS6 is Going to be released soon

If you don't want to burn a hole in your wallet, I'd go with PS Elements 9.
