Can anyone give me a good, detailed yet brief "tutorial" about facebook?
I had taken months to figure out MySpace, now I put a profile on facebook and tend to like it better. The friends just pop out of the woodwork! It is amazing. I don't like the help tab on facebook and don't seem to understand alot of it. Can anyone give me a good rundown on facebook? Where is there a list of friends that you have added but have not responded yet to you? What exactly are the apps on facebook? Maybe some comparisons and contrasts to myspace would be helpful as well
Thanks in advance Ads |

I also like FB a lot better, but the help screens are totally inadequate. You're going to need a book; "Facebooks for Dummies" is a highly rated book. As far as the apps, they're developed and offered for free, so don't expect the level of documentation or tech support that you get with programs you pay for.
Actually, one of the fun parts of YoVille (for example) is asking people questions about how to use it. You'll also find helpful, fun, and funny people to add to your YoVille buddy list that way. Just be aware that "comments" and the "wall" are PUBLIC. If you want to send something private, you have to send a "message" to their inbox. |
