How do people meet celebrities?

eh just wondering. I always see on twitter some posts on how people have met celebrities at malls or on the set of shows. Sometimes, it makes me well sad because I wish i got lucky enough to run into one or just meet them. I've searched and it says how to meet them backstage you need to know someone realllly well that works with them in order to get backstage passes, b/c those are special passes. Also, i know if a musician/bands are doing a signing somewhere then yea, that too. Or the other option go to the opening of an award show or something. Honestly it is on my bucket list to meet a celebrity, and i hope one day I can meet one of my favorite people in the whole music industry which are Ms.Demi and Haley Williams!!!! Love them, and Paramore since i was in 7th grade. I noticed that people have met average celebs like Cierra Ramirez (etc.) in malls and stuff, but how!! Mainly, it's usually in Cali tho:/. And i saw a picture of one girl meeting Demi at an airport lol. Anyways, yea i'm kind of bummed, i live on the other side of Cali, so i live in the NY..NJ..PA..Ohio area..yea... Anyways, i wanted to know how can I meet a celebrity (not stalk them). Basically, like looking for events or how to look for to see where they might be. I know that i live by a big casino and Vinny from Jersey Shore was there last yea!!!, but i couldn't go cuz I was still underage -.-. So yea,??

move to California, maybe the LA area or the Bay, and get a job as a waiter at one of those trendy coffee places. you might get lucky and see Jerry Seinfeld.

Sadly, you would have to move to LA to "run into" celebrities. But you can look online to see if they are having a concert/meet and greet or are going to be in your area. Don't give up

you just get lucky if you meet them at the malls... i personally think the best way to meet a celeb (without MONEY to buy m&g and stuffs) is to join competitions. i met my idol by winning a competition. yeah it does take a lot of hard work sometimes but in the end it will all be worth it.
