Wondering if I really need a laptop anymore?
I can search the internet and do e-mail/facebook/etc. on my Samsung Galaxy II Note phone. However, I still need to type documents, print off documents, print stuff off from the internet. Not sure I can do this with my phone? Trying to figure out the best fit technology-wise. Ideas?

You might want to take a look at the Microsoft Surface RT, its like a tablet, with the capabilities of a computer.

If just depends how good your eyes are if using web sites that are not optimized for mobile devices. Although, you can output HDMI video using Samsung AllCast hub (via WiFi) or MHL to HDMI adapter (which also requires a 5-pin to 11-pin micro-USB adapter) to display your Note II on an HDTV.

There is an app called PrintBot (PrintBot Pro is the pay version) that can print to a local printer when connected to WiFi. It does not need to store printer drivers on your phone, it sends files to their site to convert to printer language and the return file is sent to your printer. However, it only prints PDF, image files, and web pages, not things like Word doc files, etc.

You can use a Bluetooth keyboard/mousepad or mouse. Or with a micro-USB to USB adapter or Note II docking station if those devices use USB cable or proprietary USB wireless dongle (like Logitech Unified receiver). And with the USB adapter I have even used a Plantronics Wireless stereo headset with my S3.

I have done all these things with my S3. But I have not tried Google Chromecast which may be another option to output HDMI to a big screen.
