Are the BurgerKing offers or coupons from facebook really work?

Just wondering, not sure if they're scams or not but they have a lot of likes on their page. I got an offer from there where I can get a free burger and I just had to send my email and got the coupon for the offer in my email. Also, I got another offer for a chicken sandwich. Here below is exactly (copied and pasted) what the offer says:


"Get your hands on an Original Chicken Sandwich at BK® and get a second one for FREE!
Expires November 4, 2012"

So what you think...legit or not?
If I print out and bring this coupon to BK, you think they'd really do that and give me the free sandwich and burger or will they just turn it down and claim they had no part of it. I just don't want to go all the way there and them telling me it wont work and just waste my time there going all the way there and end up feeling like I need buy something else to eat (because I wasted my time driving all the way there!!) It was on the Burger King page on Facbeook by the way. Thanks!

They will honor the coupons in selected locations.
