Should I get a facebook page?

So I have my own Facebook page, that's not what I am asking about. But I am asking for my small business. I have my own webpage but not many people find it unless me or someone else hands them a business card or mention my name specifically. So should I get a website for my work? For my business? The one crummy thing is that you FOR A FACT any photos that get placed on FB belong to them and can be used by them at any time without payment coming my way. I always though that I was the smart one not going with the crowd or looking like I have no idea what I am doing (since I have a degree in the subject) but am I? By the way, I'm a photographer

Definitely, most people are on Social Networks these days, and publishing a page for your company would be great way to raise awareness for it. The more people that like it the faster the word will get around.

Go ahead and get a facebook page. Watermark your photos with the URL of your website, so if anyone does "borrow" them they will be giving you free advertising.

You might also consider getting on Pinterest. It's the hottest new thing, until the next hottest new thing comes along. Have a look around and see how other businesses like yours are using Pinterest.
