How would you act if someone followed you on instagram?

Would you follow them back if you know they go to your school and you've talked to them a few times(and they wern't creepy or mean). Would you think it's weird they took so long to follow you? Would you think much of it? Would you tell anyone if instagram or your name got your name got into the conversation or is it not that big of a deal? Would it be weird to follow a popular person if you're not? Sorry I have anxiety and I want to get one but I'm nervous :/
