How can I boost my fundraising efforts?

I've set up a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe (http://www.gofundme.com/6sgai4) and shared it on Facebook, created an "event" and invited all of my friends to it, emailed the link to my parents and asked them to pass it on to their work buddies.

So far, my great aunt who is more like a grandma has donated. That's it. My parents will donate when they next get paid.

How can I boost my campaign? How can I share this with enough people that I might reach the ones who actually WILL support? Any bright ideers?
