How to protest social media?

I don't like what social media is doing to my friends, my family, my hobbies, and people who swore they wouldn't use it that often but got addicted anyway. I think it's time for the world to get back to life. I realised the only way to actually combat social media was to do it away from the computer, so I'm going to use the postal service. If I want to protest effectively, what companies/organisations should I mail to first? Any other analogue protest ideas would be good, too.
