help, really bad problem?

I was on a social media site (not Facebook) with a large following. a Boy who has always been jealous of me made up loads of rumours and posted them and it got like 1000 hits and all my close online friends believed him. my first name is there with those rumours and I'm scared because they're not true, they made fake evidence which I've been telling everyone is fake, but they just can't listen? no way to take down the rumours because the support @website refused. made me so nervous in real life I was going to cry. so many death threats. I'm 18. the accusations are to do with me lying about thigs so It's not anything that could get me in trouble with the police but do you think it will die down and people will forget? will this effect my music career? I don't want people to associate that with me. a few people do believe me but all these disgusting teenagers and people in their early 20s hate my guts. I'm spending time with real life friends to get over it. I want to stop thinking of it. can't tell you now bad the last week has been for me. I'm a girl in school.

Make a profile page with the jerks full name and pictures and tell everyone what he is doing to you, post all the lies he is saying and fall him a terrorist then callthe fbi and accuse him of being a terrorst , he seems to have a sick obsession with you.
If your friends believed him hunny you are better off without them, seek support from your family,

I think you should try to get the police involved.
I believe this guy is committing defamation?! He could get into trouble for this. As you said, the consequences of his actions have brought on death threats to you which is no laughing matter. You, your family and the police should take this very seriously!
Sorry that you're experiencing all this. This guy is a horrible person and I hope he gets dealt with!
