Staying away from social media..?

I'd like to stay away from social media. I had a twitter and i deactivated it. I have an instagram that my friend made, that I never use. I have my facebook still up, but I want to stay away from all of it. It's a little tough with how everyone uses it, does anyone have any ideas on how to get away from all of it? or how to keep in contact with all these people?

Play outside, live life not through the phone of a screen but by actually being there in the outdoors! Go to the theatres with friends, play volleyball at the beach and visit lovely tourist sites. Go to cafe's in downtown with a friend. Don't get sucked into these social networks that drain the life and energy out of us, me included. And just keep friend's phone numbers instead of adding them or following them in these social media platforms.

That's what I would do.
