I don't really like people my age?

I'm 13 and I don't exactly connect with people my age. I always try to make conversation but it never really goes far, most of the time i just find that kids my age are immature and silly and that I just don't have the same interests as they do? It just seems a lot of people my age are obsessed with silly trivial things like facebook arguments or twitter followers and I just look at them and think what are you doing with your life?! I might sound obnoxious but I have always been this way, I have a few close friends who are an exception to this but otherwise I just don't understand why a lot of people my age act like small children?

Same as my situation when i dnt. Suport my co-classmates in wrong things they do they think to dnt. Talk to me, now my teachers, my principal like my atitude and see me in a very respective way, so i think around u there are stupids and u r clever student.
