Why do people do this on Facebook and online period?

I need some real answers here cause it's making me crazy. First of all why is it when you friend request someone they don't respond? Either they don't just reject your friend request but they won't accept it either. In other words they just leave it pending? Don't people realize that when they do this it makes it so that person can't friend request anyone else cause then Facebook thinks you're friend requesting random people? If they don't wanna be friends then just reject the request. Why leave it pending and leave the person hanging? Also another problem I have online is I will meet a lady online and we will both really hit it off and we will talk for hours and she will even tell me what an amazing guy I am and how happy she is to have met me. Then the very next day, I will see her online and nothing happened between our last contact and then, and I will say hi how are you? And she will either just flat out ignore me and not even respond, or she will write back "I'm busy" and nothing more. This has happened to me a whole lot online. Why do females online do this? Can anyone females especially tell me the answer to this so I will know what to do from now on? It is very hurtful and upsetting to me.

please take a breath and calm down!
not everybody is on facebook all the time and not everybody responds as fast.

and sorry to say, but maybe it's just not a "friend" that you send the request to. A real friend will take the effort to befriend you on facebook.

Dude you need to avoid caffeine and sugar, calm down, who cares if a stranger ignores. I have a feeling I have an idea why they don't accept your friend requests, think about that, cheers.
