I got suspended from Twitter?

Yesterday I was on twitter (im new to twitter) and like my friend told me that if you go to an artist's list of followers and follow them they will follow back, so i starrted following about some 20 ppl maybe and got suspended by a message saying: "agressive following" and like wtf, that's not true. now im suspended and it says only the # of tweets i have, 0 following and 0 followers and i did followed people and had people followed me back.

How long does it take to get UN-suspended? Will my followers and following will come back or will i have to start from 0 again?
