If I made a Facebook account, would my mum notice?

So I was gonna make a Facebook account to keep in touch with my friend who moved to the other side of the country but how would I keep my mum from knowing??

Ummm your mom would notice if you were on like every second of the day once she is close to your room close the tab and pretend your doing homework but tell your friend you will always do it when you make a facebook

2.) google facebook. and clear the history dont put it in the url
3.) dont add any family friends, or friends that are friends with your family.


i reccommend talking to her about, alot of parents are cool with it. but there are options like email, and phone calls and texting.
